Joint exhibition appearance by Agile Robots and BÄR Automation at LogiMAT 2024
Munich, 05.03.2024 – The high-tech company Agile Robots and system integrator BÄR Automation will exhibit their automation solutions together for the first time at LogiMAT (Hall 6, Booth 6D81) between 19 and 21 March in Stuttgart. In September 2023, Agile Robots acquired a majority stake in the family-owned company BÄR Automation, based in Gemmingen, Baden-Württemberg.
The potential for automation in intralogistics is enormous, particularly due to the shortage of skilled workers. There is a massive need for optimization in order picking as well as packaging and conveyor and transport systems.
This is where Agile Robots and BÄR Automation offer a joint holistic solution: Agile Robots' state-of-the-art lightweight robots can be easily attached to BÄR Automation's autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), providing them with enhanced mobility capabilities. This collaboration enables a more flexible utilization of the robot’s skillset across various segments of intralogistics, ensuring an efficient automation of tasks such as picking, packing, and goods transport. The synergy is supported by the automation platform Anyfleet from the BMW spin-off idealworks, which is also part of the Agile Robots Group.
