Software Engineer – Autonomy & Motion Planning (C/C++) (m/f/d)

At Agile Robots we are transforming technology at the leading edge of robotics research to real industry solutions. We are looking for motivated multi-disciplinary engineers to join our team. Our tasks range from low-level firmware, communication and software architecture to high-level path/motion planning, task planning and world modeling. Depending on your interests and strengths, as a member of the Agile Robots team you will have the opportunity to work in any of the broad areas we cover.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing algorithms for robot motion planning and execution
  • Integrating algorithms within our software infrastructure and other components

Essential Skills:

  • C/C++, Linux
  • Previous experience with Path / Motion / Trajectory planning
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Beneficial Skills:

  • GCC/Clang, CMake
  • GDB, valgrind
  • Git
  • Middleware (e.g. DDS, ZeroC ICE, ZeroMQ, ROS, YARP)
  • MoveIt, FCL, CCD, OpenCV, Open3D
  • Torque controlled robotic manipulators
