Senior Systems Engineer

Who we are:

Agile Robots AG is a high-tech startup based in Munich. Our mission is to bridge the gap between AI and robotics by developing robotic systems that offer state-of-the-art full-body force sensitivity and world-leading vision intelligence. This unique combination of technologies enables us to provide intelligent, easy-to-use and affordable robotic solutions with safe human-robot interaction.

Senior Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

You will be a member of the systems engineering team, which provides an overall system view and ensures that the product is coherent, well designed to meet system objectives and documented at the system level. The systems team works closely with other teams across multiple domains.
The primary focus of your role will be our collaborative robot arm and its mechatronic accessories. Additionally, you will work with the functional safety, application software and integration teams to define a suitable, safe and compatible architecture for our complete robotic system products.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define, plan, and monitor systems engineering strategies and tools
  • Work closely with domain experts (e.g. R&D, engineering, functional safety, security, product management, and verification)
  • Support the definition of core product goals and capabilities
  • Define requirements through eliciting inputs from customers, standards and regulations, and company internal know-how
  • Create a solid base for supporting certification to collaborative robot standards
  • Implement a suitable model-based systems engineering (MBSE) process
  • Derive system architectures and define component decompositions and interfaces from system level requirements
  • Ensure requirement traceability throughout the product development cycle (V-model)
