Robotics Engineer – Motion and Task Planning, World Modeling

Robotics engineer – motion and task planning, world modeling (m/f/d)

At Agile Robots, we build state-of-the-art hardware and software. Focus of this position is on path, motion and task planning to increase the autonomy of robotic systems and strongly interleaves with research. Our software is built completely in-house with focus on quality and performance.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in designing and implementing C and C++ applications
  • Experience with kinematics and dynamics of multibody systems, path, motion or task planning
  • Linux
  • Knowledge of some of these tools: gcc/clang, gdb, valgrind, git, cmake, vim/emacs, strace, ltrace, nm, readelf, lttng
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • University degree in computer science or a similar field


Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience in Motion planning for robotic manipulators, familiarity with common algorithms
  • Experience in optimization or control techniques
  • Familiarity with dynamic simulation
  • Experience in image processing, SLAM and depth perception
