IT Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator

IT Infrastructure Engineer/Administrator (m/f/d)

At Agile Robots AG we are developing complex multi-component robotic systems. In order to allow developers to share cutting edge components, we are using an automated build and deployment system based on GitLab, Conan and Artifactory. Additionally, we provide convenience wrappers to integrate Conan with our robotic middleware solution. Currently we are searching for an IT infrastructure engineer/administrator to coordinate our IT infrastructure efforts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work together with developers and admins to ensure a smooth software development process
  • Operate and monitor our automatic building and testing pipelines and infrastructure
  • Create and maintain Conan software packages of third-party software
  • Improve our in-house package management system based on Conan
  • Promote good software development practices such as automatic building and testing

Essential Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems
  • Some Python programming experience
  • Fluent in at least two or more programming/scripting languages
  • Bachelor’s degree (or vocational education) in Computer Science, engineering, or related fields
  • Good English language communication skills

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
  • Experience with Gitlab runners
  • Experience with container solutions like Podman/Docker
  • Experience with virtualizing solutions such as KVM, Virtualbox, VMware, LXC
